Formation of Managing Committee

Eligible General Members, Life Members (Gen.) and Library Members elect 19 (nineteen) valid candidates for managing committee by voting, conducted by selected an Election Commissioner and one Jt. Election Commissioner, for forming the Managing Committee to take charge for regular and efficient functioning of the Samity for 3 (three) consecutive years. Elected members elect among themselves one President, two Vice Presidents, one General Secretary, one Asst. General Secretary, one Treasurer, one Library Secretary, one Asst. Library Secretary, one social Welfare Secretary, one Cultural Secretary, one Asst. Cultural Secretary, and eight Game Secretaries for sports departments. All Secretaries are responsible to General Secretary or Asst. General Secretary in absence of General Secretary. The Managing Committee functions through various sub-committees giving priority on the objects jointly decided in the meetings of Managing Committee.
